So this is a MONSTER of a post, but it is so dear to my heart!!! I spent the morning at my 91-year-old
Grandma's house the other day. She is the only Grandparent both my husband and I have left, so we cherish every moment with her. It seems like I see my Grandma often, but it is usually at my parent's house or my house. I really wanted to go to my Grandma's house for a few reasons: so she could teach me how to make her delicious cream puffs, and just to take some pictures of her and her house. She has lived in this house since before I was born 30 years ago, and it has not changed a whole lot, so it is full of memories for me. I had to call well in advanced to schedule this event, since my Grandma has a busier calendar than me!! She was very excited to have me come over and make cream puffs with her. She told me she hasn't made them in a while because it is kind of a long process and she just can't stand that long anymore. She was such a trooper and made it until the final product.
Jagger loved playing with the airplane...it use to me my favorite too...

ok, this is funny, she has a house FULL of pictures and on this particular dresser, there were 3 pictures right in a row of me as a young girl...the picture on the left with the boy haircut was just after my brother chopped my hair...ha ha memories...

This is on the wall just outside my Grandma's bedroom. It is so symbolic. My Grandma is a woman of strong faith!

My daughter LOVES teddy bears, and even though this one is decades old, she fell on love with this one too...

My Grandma was a school teacher and use to always read to my brothers and I. This book use to be one of my favorites...look she is 91 and doesn't even need glasses!

Starting the cream puffs...
