What to wear...

I am asked all the time what children should wear for their photo session. I have some general suggestions on my website, www.jillynsegroves.com under "details" "your session". Here are some stores I suggest shopping at: www.gap.com, www.childrensplace.com, or if you would like something truly unique and totally ADORABLE check out www.jennijackson.com and www.matildajaneclothing.com. I LOVE accessories, it adds visual interest to a picture and helps bring out the child's personality. I have accumulated a ton of adorable hats, ties, tutus, boots, scarfs, capes, etc. that you are more than welcome to use for your session. I get most of my accessories from www.etsy.com. If you have not been on etsy yet....get ready to be addicted...but I am not responsible for how much time you spend on the site or how much money you spend. The picture below is of my son, Jagger. He is 3 and newly potty trained, therefore he loves wearing just his superhero underwear all over the house and his cape I bought for him on etsy (the boots are from Target). I LOVE this picture because it is so him.
