Meet Shaker & Delilah...

They have been living at my in-law's house for the last 2 months. My Mother-in-law has been e-mailing me photos and I have been so anxious to see them in person and snap a few shots of my own...so this weekend we finally made that happen. These photos don't even do justice to their true brilliant colors...they are amazing! Shaker is really tame and would let us get super close to him...

These feather will be falling out in July...can't wait to collect a few...

Look at the orange feathers on his belly...

Something ruffled his feathers..could be the 7 people 4 feet away from him...
Here they are together...this is the only photos I posted of Delilah, she would not let us get that close to her..and she wasn't near as beautiful (sorry Delilah). Why is it that all male animals are way prettier than the females??? It doesn't seem fair!! At least it isn't that way in the human specis....haha!
This shows how close we could get, Sutton is about 3 feet away from him...
I am sure you have always wondered what a peacock behind looks like...

What an increadible creature...God you are amazing!

Beautiful!

They brought back memories of when you, Becky, and I went to Florida and stayed with your Grandma - remember the peacocks we saw? I think I still have pictures. Nothing like these though!
