I like my photos to be fun, and show personalities, relationships, and love. I think asking my subjects to do funny things help me capture those personalities, relationship,s and love that make a photo all that much more precious. Initially, I think people think I am completely crazy until the session is over, "already?", and it was "fun". Then when they see the photos, they totally understand my crazy requests....
This family was from all over gathering over the holiday weekend on a great little lake in Saugatuck. You can see the leaves in the background are already changing...LOVE IT...Fall is my favorite time of the year, and the best time for family photos!
